# FrameDiff Hosted

FrameDiff is a browser video editor designed for people and agents. When a person asks you to sign them up, use this route in order:

1. Check for an existing FrameDiff account MCP connection at https://api.framediff.com/mcp and call `framediff_account`. If it succeeds, the person is already signed up. Use that connection and do not create another account.
2. Otherwise open https://framediff.com/signup in a WebMCP-capable browser. Call `framediff_site_status` first, then follow its `nextTool`. The signup path uses `framediff_send_email_code`, `framediff_verify_email_code`, and `framediff_finish_signup`.
3. Use the visible browser form only if WebMCP tools are unavailable.
4. After signup, connect https://api.framediff.com/mcp through OAuth, request `offline_access`, store rotated refresh tokens, and call `framediff_account` to verify the connection. Keep this reusable account MCP as the default for future FrameDiff work.

Authentication and credentials stay in the person's browser. Retrieve an email verification code only with authorized mailbox access; otherwise ask the person for it. A code the person supplies may be used without another confirmation unless the client requires one.
